Draft Timeline for Charter Review Committee

October 7th

1. Timeline committee presents idea for speaker's bureau to committee.

2. Timeline committee presents political issues to committee.

3. Timeline presents charter committee fact sheet/FAQ for to be used in speaker's bureau

4. Sub-committees formed and assigned to research each of the political issues identified for public discussion. (A separate sub-committee assigned for each issue)

5. Send charter to Tom Sponsler for legal and practical review.

6. Volunteer from the committee assigned to set up speaking opportunities with service groups. Work from list sent out to committee.

7. Speaker (Paul Nolte)

October 21st

1. Committee discussion of public involvement process.

2. Charge public involvement committee to design process

3. Speaker (Don Robertson, Parks and Recreation Director)

4. Present public info road show to full committee.

Nov. 4th

1. Chair reports to council.

2. Review report from Tom on current charter with legal and practical issues and items best as ordinances and outdated charter provisions
