CERT Basic Training Schedule
We remain hopeful we can offer Basic Training in-person this spring.
We will be following the Governor's guidance fully, however. This includes embracing needed flexibility in final determination of in-person, online, or hybrid.

Ashland CERT’s Spring "Intensive" Basic Training Course is offered FREE to residents of Jackson County interested in being prepared. The course is also required to establish volunteerism within CERT. There will be a future opportunity to participate in the sought-after CERT training in 2021. Participants must attend each session in full including four evenings and two day sessions.

For the final disaster simulation please dress for all weather and wear pants and boots or sturdy sneakers. The CERT office has basic protective equipment for you to wear if you do not bring your own (such as hard hat, safety vest, work gloves, goggles/sunglasses, and knee pads). You must wear PPE during the simulation for everyone's safety.
