PROC-Lenn Hannon
PROCLAMATION
Lenn Hannon is a native Oregonian who attended Ashland High School
and Southern Oregon University, and worked for the City of Ashland for 21
years.
Lenn Hannon has devoted 30 years to a legislative career as a Senator
representing the 26th District which includes the City of Ashland, and has
shown leadership, commitment and dedication during his tenure.
Lenn Hannon worked hard for the better good of our community, and
the Legislature has lost a senator with experience, historical perspective
and a voice of reason.
Dixie Hannon has worked as Lenn Hannon's chief legislative aid for
many years, providing services, expertise and insight.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council and Mayor, on behalf of the citizens of
Ashland, hereby proclaim Friday, February 27, 2004 as
LENN and DIXIE HANNON DAY
in Ashland and salute these two citizens who have made our community a nicer
place in which to live.
