MEMORANDUM

RE:            Appointment to Traffic Safety Commission

December 16, 2003 City Council Meeting

This will confirm my appointment of Jim Green to the Traffic Safety Commission for a term to expire April 30, 2005.

The vacancy was created following the resignation of George Fardelmann in October.

Attached is a copy of the application received in response to the advertisement as it appeared in the Daily Tidings. The vacancy was also advertised on the City's Web site, and on the notice board in City Hall.
