Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission (APRC) through the efforts of the Pool Ad Hoc Committee are evaluating the need for a renovation or replacement of Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool. The next listening session will be on Thu, Mar 21, 5:30 p.m. at The Grove, 1195 E Main St in Ashland.

Background:
The Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool opened in the Summer of 1983 with support from citizen fundraising efforts and $100,000 donation from Margaret and Albert Meyer to memorialize their late son. The pool is aging and renovations will be needed to keep the pool operational.  In response to recent closures of pools in the area the Pool Ad Hoc Committee was formed and charged by APRC with assessing needs and exploring options for renovating the Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool or replacing it.
