Sample Workplace Charging Policies (required for workplace charger incentive).

  • If you own a business, please consider having a workplace charging program. By doing so, you can provide help accelerate EV adoption and provide a valuable employee benefit.
  • To ensure effective workplace charging, it's a good idea to have a formal policy. A formal policy provides clarity and guidance on topics such as:
    • When are chargers available, and for whom?
    • Do certain vehicles have priority?
    • Does the workplace provide free charging, or do employees pay a fee?
