Monitoring

Owl in Next BoxVolunteers, APRC staff, students and natural resource professionals at North Mountain Park participate in monitoring efforts to guide an adaptive management approach to restoration efforts, contribute valuable scientific data to regional and global monitoring programs and engage in exciting, authentic environmental stewardship.

Of the monitoring activities at North Mountain Park, birding, involves the greatest number of volunteers. Educational and research organizations and agencies are invited to use the park as a monitoring site and encouraged to share their data with the Nature Center .
