Demonstration Gardens surround the Nature Center, each designed with a unique theme: the
Butterfly Garden, Reptile and Amphibian Garden, Herb Garden, Heirloom Garden, Native Plant Garden, and the Bird Buffet (a variety of interpretive materials are available to help you navigate the gardens).
The gardens are maintained by volunteers, using sustainable gardening methods. They provide habitat for wildlife and serve as an educational and recreational resource for park visitors. Group tours can be arranged by calling the Nature Center at 541.488.6606.
You can learn more about these gardens by attending one of our FREE garden tours, led by a Master Gardeners and Volunteer Docents.
