The chair will recognize you and inform you as to the amount of time allotted to you, if any. The time granted will be dependent to some extent on the nature of the item under discussion, the number of people who wish to be heard, and the length of the agenda.

PUBLIC HEARINGS Testimony limited to 5 minutes per speaker, unless it is the subject of a Land Use Appeal.  Persons wishing to speak are to submit a "speaker request form" prior to the commencement of the public hearing. All hearings must conclude by 9:00 p.m., be continued to a subsequent meeting, or be extended to 9:30 p.m. by a two-thirds vote of council {AMC 2.04.040}
  1. Adoption of a supplemental budget and a resolution creating appropriations within the FY 2012-13 budget

Please note: Comments or questions from the public that are of a defamatory nature, such as statements directed at individual Councilors' character, intentions, etc., are out of order because they interfere with the work of the Council. The Council will not answer questions posed during public forum but may direct staff to answer such questions later.
