2012 Historic Preservation Month Activities

Saturday, May 12th, 12:00-4:00 pm, join the Ashland Historic Railroad Museum located at 258 A Street, Suite 7, as it celebrates National Train Day – with a Street Fair & Concert
 
Tuesday, May 15th, 2:00 pm – A “Quirky History” tour of Downtown Ashland will be led by Terry Skibby. Meet in front of the Community Development office building at 51 Winburn Way.
 
Wednesday, May 16th, 8:00-4:30 – The Mountain View Mausoleum will be opened for a self-guided tour. The Mountain View Mausoleum is located on the south side of Ashland St. at the intersections of Normal and Sherwood Avenues.   
 
Thursday, May 17th, Noon – Historic Preservation Award Ceremony and celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Ashland Library will be held in the Gresham Room at the Ashland Public Library located at 410 Siskiyou Blvd.
 
Sunday, May 20th, 2:00 pm – Discover Ashland’s Hidden Gem with a walking tour of Hargadine Cemetery led by Terry Skibby. The entrance to the Hargadine Cemetery is located off of Sheridan Street.
