At the October 3, 2011 City Council meeting, the Council finalized the agreement between the City and Mt. Ashland Association (MAA). The agreement includes the appointment of a non-voting Council member to the Mt. Ashland Association. The intent of the liaison appointment is to improve communication between the City and MAA not to influence or direct MAA’s decision.
City Councilor Dennis Slattery was appointed to serve as Council Liaison to the MAA. Slattery also acts as liaison between the City and the Forest Service.
