Economic, Cultural, Tourism & Sustainability Grants

As part of the implementation of the City's recently adopted Economic Development Strategy , the Economic, Cultural, Tourism and Sustainability Grant Program process, criteria, scoring and reporting has being modified to better match the Council's goal of maximizing the grant funds across all of the eligible program categories.

This year’s Council approved funding level totals $199,501, with a minimum of $53,206 designated for tourism promotion as defined by the State of Oregon and the remaining $146,295 for economic development, cultural development, sustainability and general tourism promotion.

Applications were due by 4:00 PM, Monday March 26, 2012.  The Grants Sub-Committee of the full Citizens Budget will review and deliberate on the allocation of grant funds April 11th and 12th at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at 1175 East Main St.
