Citizen Alert is a Reverse 911 service that notifies community members of emergencies. By opting in with additional contact numbers such as cell and work phones and e-mail addresses, residents can be alerted to emergency and non-emergency events in Ashland.
All land line telephone numbers are already included, but additional numbers like cell phone and work phones must be manually entered. By selecting notification for non-emergency events, residents can also be alerted for public works events such as street closures, misssing persons reports, and other important information.
