Lisa McGarity is the Senior Conservation Program Coordinator for Avista’s natural gas operations in Oregon.
Since starting with the company in 1993 she has worked in Idaho and Washington handling all aspects of a customer’s interface with the electric and natural gas utility.
Currently, her focus is managing the process of energy conservation from the initial contact with the residential or commercial customer, to the completion of the conservation project. As a facilitator of various workshops, Lisa has helped customers understand how energy is used and how to conserve it.
In addition, she also helps maintain program information on the company’s website everylittlebit.com which details prescriptive and custom incentives that Avista offers.
In the changing landscape of energy efficiency, Lisa keeps her skills up to date by attending project management and energy efficiency courses. She has also been involved in company leadership classes, Medford/Jackson County Chamber Leadership; youth programs, and various fundraisers for different charitable organizations in the community
