Frequently Asked Questions

The Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink is located at 95 Winburn Way in Lithia Park at the corner of Winburn Way and Nutley St. The rink is open November through February each year. Learn more at ashland.or.us/IceRink 

The Daniel Meyer Pool is located in Hunter Park and open June through September each year. Learn more at ashland.or.us/Swim

The Rec Division offices are located in The Grove at 1195 E Main St in Ashland. The Grove is the place where you can register for a program, get a map or gift certificate, apply for a scholarship, reserve an APRC facility or just stop by to say hello! 


APRC facilities and specified park locations can be rented for private events such as weddings, receptions, meetings, picnics, and family gatherings. Learn more.

The APRC Rec Division offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding holidays) and located in The Grove at 1195 E Main St in Ashland.

Ashland Parks & Recreation oversees 18 parks/properties that are dog friendly, one of which is a two-acre fenced-in area where dogs can run off leash and socialize with other dogs - Learn more.

The Ashland Senior Center is a Division of Ashland Parks & Recreation - Learn more.

1. Must be 21 years of age to reserve any park site.

2. All individuals and groups who have made a reservation will receive a PARK USAGE PERMIT. You must have your usage permit with you when arriving at the reservation site.

3. All City of Ashland ordinances will be enforced.

4. No selling is allowed in any City of Ashland Park.

5. No alcoholic beverage is allowed in any City of Ashland Park.

6. Temporary signs may be posted or displayed in the parks only with the permission of the Ashland Parks & Recreation Department. No signs may be attached to posts containing city street signs.

7. Bicycles, motorcycles, or other motor vehicles, and horses may be ridden on City streets only.

8. Fires may be built only in designated fire rings or in raised off-the-ground barbeques.

9. No domestic animals or pets are allowed in any City of Ashland Park.

10. Use of firearms, fireworks, or other explosives is prohibited in any City of Ashland Park.
