Plaza Use Permit
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FOR A
PLAZA USE PERMIT
Print and fill in the details on the form attached below and then either mail or drop off at City Hall (20 East Main Street), or fax to (541) 488-5311 for approval. It takes, approximately, one week to process a Plaza Use permit request. The completed and signed application will act as your permit and will be forwarded to you once the signatures are received.
If your event will involve amplification or drumming, please don't forget to fill out a Noise Permit. Please note, amplification on the Plaza is only allowable during the following hours:
June 1 to October 15 no later than 5:30 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday and no later than 7:30 p.m. Mondays.
October 16 to May 31 no later than 9:30 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
It is your responsibility to notify businesses in the immediate area that may be affected by your event. It is important for surrounding businesses to be aware of the event and to be in possession of a telephone number so they know where to contact you if necessary. In the event the Police Department has to intervene, the permit will be voided and the event will not be allowed to continue.
