Should Council make changes in the duties and responsibilities of the Municipal Audit Committee?
Staff recommends Council approve the attached resolution.
In 2003 Council approved changes to the Committee's compensation and voting responsibilities. Since then changes in audit standards and internal operations have warranted an update to the resolution, changing what positions can vote on issues and clarifying City Council's expectations for the committee.
This issue was discussed at a Council Study Session on May 19th and the attached resolution is in keeping with that discussion.
