| Recommendation: |
It is recommended that the Council approve the attached
quitclaim deed terminating the City's interest in two water pipeline easements
crossing at 209 Crowson Road 391E13C Tax lot 2300. |
| Fiscal Impact: |
None. |
| Background: |
Mr. Tom Kennedy has requested termination of two
water pipeline easements which cross his property at 209 Crowson Road. The
easements, which were acquired by the City in 1915 and 1950, are shown on
the attached map. The pipelines were originally intended to carry mineral
and other waters into the City but have not been in use for many years. In
most cases the actual pipelines have been removed. There is very little
likelihood that the easements would be needed in the future. |
