RE: CITIZENS' BUDGET COMMITTEE

January 7, 2003 Council Meeting

There is one vacant position on the Citizens' Budget Committee for a term that expires December 31, 2004, created by the resignation of Diana Goodwin Shavey.

Replies were received from Steve Hauck, 1261 Siskiyou Boulevard, and Allen Douma, M.D., 83 Granite Street, in response to the advertisement in the Ashland Daily Tidings, the city's Web site and the notice board in City Hall when advertised during the month of November. Copies of the applications have previously been provided.

One reply was received from Brent Thompson, P.O. Box 201, in response to the advertisement in the Ashland Daily Tidings, the city's Web site and the notice board in City Hall when advertised during the month of December. A copy of the advertisement and a copy of Brent Thompson's application are attached.

Please make your selection at the January 7, 2003 council meeting for the appointment of one Budget Committee member for a term to expire December 31, 2004.
