The City manager has declared a severe weather emergency and has authorized the opening of an emergency shelter beginning Saturday evening, January 28, to Wednesday morning, February 1, 2023.
The severe weather shelter will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. at
48 Fifth Street. The doors will close for the night at 9 p.m. with lights out at 10 p.m. This is a no-frills shelter, which means individuals should plan on providing their own bedding. Well behaved pets are welcome.
