The Utility Billing (20 East Main Street) and Community Development/Public Works (51 Winburn Way) counters will be open to the public starting on Monday July 12. Both counters will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday through Thursday until further notice. Please be patient with our staff as we transition to being open to the public with reduced staffing levels. Staff will still be available to help via phone and email. Visit our
City Directory to find the direct numbers and emails for the Department you need.
You will not need to wear a mask or be asked of proof of vaccination while in City offices. With that being said, anyone who would like to continue to wear a mask are still welcomed to do so. Physical distancing will also not be enforced, but we ask everyone to be respectful of others personal spaces.
Council Meetings will also go back to in person starting with the July 19 Study Session and July 20 Council business meeting. Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers at 1175 E. Main Street at 6 p.m. every first and third Tuesday. Study Sessions are held at 5:30 p.m. the day before the regular business meeting. As requested by Council, staff is looking into ways for citizen’s testimony to be given electronically, but in the meantime all testimony for public forum or regular agenda items will need to be given in person during the meetings. Please contact the
City Recorder, Melissa Huhtala, if you have any questions regarding giving public testimony.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back.
