The City of Ashland has been recruiting a new Finance Director and would now like input from the community. A survey titled “Finance Director Recruitment” is available online at
ashland.or.us/engage for citizens to give input. The survey will focus on what skills, qualifications, and attributes the community thinks the new Finance Director should possess.
“Community engagement is a priority in Ashland, and we are eager to see what the community would like to see in their new Finance Director,” said Tina Gray, Human Resources Director. The results of the survey will assist the Council with formally adopting the Selection Criteria used in the final interviews, tentatively scheduled for August.
The community will have from Monday, July 6 until Monday, July 20 to rank their preferred skills, qualifications, and attributes for the new Director while adding in any ones that might have been missed. The results of this survey are scheduled to be presented to Council on August 4, 2020; where they will also make a decision on which to select.
