Vote for the 2019 Tree of the Year

Voting for the 2019 Tree of the Year is now open on-line at: https://gis.ashland.or.us/treeofyear2019/.

The Tree Commission holds a “Tree of the Year” contest each year. Beginning in the fall (typically), Ashlanders nominate candidates for Tree of the Year through an open nomination process. The community submitted over 17 nominations. The tree commission then reviewed the nominations and selected 10 finalists.

This year’s finalists are:

• 717 Siskiyou
• 192 N Mountain
• 209 Crowson Rd
• 570 Fairview

Large Oak
Maple
Pine
Cedar
Walnut
Black Oak
Silver Maple
Douglas Fir

Voting will continue through the end of April, and the winner will be announced at an Arbor Day Tree Planting sometime in mid-May.
