City to begin testing of new Park Estates Pump Station 5-8-19

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 some residents on Terrace Street, Ashland Loop Road, Waterline Road, Lisa Lane and upper Morton Street will have their water turned off from 8:00AM -5:00PM in order to facilitate the startup and testing of the new Park Estates pump station. The attached map shows the exact location of residences that will be affected. As the pump station is brought online it may cause mineral deposits that have built up over many years within the City water mains to become dislodged causing discolored water. This discoloration is harmless but if customers are experiencing discolored water, doing laundry or filling pools, hot tubs etc. should be avoided. Running your cold water tap for a few minutes usually clears the discoloration, but if that is unsuccessful please contact the Ashland Water division at 541-488-5353 for additional assistance.
