Ashland Forest Resiliency has Three Controlled Burns Planned on Wednesday, April 3rd

On Wednesday, April 3^rd Ashland Forest Resiliency Partners will manage three controlled burns for community fire safety.

Above Reeder Reservoir
A controlled burn located between USFS 2060 Road (Lithia Loop) and USFS 2060-200 (Horn Gap Road) above Reeder Reservoir will begin at 9:30 a.m. Smoke could be in areas close to the burn off Lithia Loop Road and Horn Gap Road. All roads and trails will be open.

Hald Strawberry Park
In Hald Strawberry Park, a controlled burn to consume piles will be managed this morning. Streets and the neighborhood around Hald Strawberry Park may have some smoke. Please keep your doors and windows closed.

Windemar Drive
A pile burn will be conducted south of Ashland off Windemar Drive. Smoke could impact the neighborhood around Windemar and Timberlake Drives. Smoke will be visible from Interstate 5 and on the south side of Ashland.
