Avista Utilities has notified the City of Ashland that up to 2,300 customers in the service area between the Ashland airport and the downtown are experiencing very low pressures and likely loss of use. Avista is uncertain of the timeline for restoring system pressure to these customers and has indicated that it could be out for some time as crews are being sent from various locations in the Northwest to assist in restoring full service.
A formal press release has not yet been issued by Avista. As soon as it is received, it will be posted on the City website.
