Tour of Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project

What:  Guided Hike of Ashland Forest Resiliency Project
Where:  Meet at Lithia Park Bandshell, transportation is provided 
When:  Saturday, June 23rd, 9AM to 1PM

Please join us for a tour of the Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project (AFR). Meet partners and learn about the ecological benefits of prescribed fire when you hike the Wonder Trail in the Ashland watershed. You will get an overview of the AFR project's controlled burn program, history of Ashland Watershed and learn about what was accomplished during the past year. We will visit an area where controlled burns were completed this spring. There will be some hiking on uneven ground so please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. The tour will be suitable for anyone over 12 years old.
