APRC will present the 4th of July Run on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. This annual run is steeped in
tradition dating back to 1976!
Two runs are offered, a 2-mile fun run and a 10K that attracts local competitors as well as running talent from other regions in the U.S. The routes are scenic and on closed roadways. A section of the 10K route is along the tree-lined Bear Creek Greenway.
Both races start at 7:45 a.m. and are chip-timed. All ages are welcome. The start/finish line is near the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd, corner of 3rd St and Gresham St.
Registration is now OPEN at
ashland.or.us/JulyRun. The cost for youth is $10 for either run. Adult prices, ages 13 and up, start at $20. Register early and save $$$. T-shirts with this year’s logo are available for sale, when you register, for only $10/each. (Shirts must be ordered by June 8.) The event is a fundraiser for the Ashland and Phoenix High School cross country teams.
