Trucking Route for City of Ashland Wetland Restoration Project
The City of Ashland is conducting a wetland restoration project at the Lithia Springs Property (555 Emigrant Creek Road).  This project will require a significant amount of imported fill, which will be sourced from the Granite Street Quarry located near the intersection of Granite Street and National Forest Road NF-2010.  On Monday, April 16, a contractor will begin hauling fill between the quarry and the Lithia Springs property.  The contractor will use a combination of designated truck routes and the most direct routes possible, including Granite Street, E Main Street, Dead Indian Memorial Road, and Emigrant Creek Road.  Hauling will begin after 7:00 AM, and will cease by 5:30 PM. Contractor will run approximately four trucks per hour and is expected complete the job within 10 business days.  Thank you for your patience as the City completes this ecologically important project.
