Controlled Burns Continue Wednesday Above Ashland

On Wednesday, crews from Lomakatsi Restoration Project will once again be burning in the upper Wrights Creek area west of town along with a small burn conducted by Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission staff in Siskiyou Mountain Park near the White Rabbit Trail. There won't be any trail closures, but expect smoke in Siskiyou Mountain Park if you hike that area or live nearby. Thanks for your ongoing patience as we take care of our forests and protect our community.
