Upcoming repair work on Ashland Street

Updated as of 10/4/17:

Thursday October 5th, the Ashland Street Division will be continuing the patch work on Ashland Street.

Original:
The Ashland Street Division will be performing patch work on Ashland Street between the railroad overpass and Siskiyou Boulevard. This work is being done to repair bad areas of the roadway subject to chronic potholing. The work will begin on Tuesday, September 26th and continue until Thursday, September 28th. The City will be closing one travel lane of Ashland Street beginning at 6:00 AM and lasting until 5:00 PM. There will be a high volume of equipment and workers in the area as well as intermittent road closures on some side streets off of Ashland Street.

Additionally, there will be no left turns allowed from some businesses onto Ashland Street for brief periods while the work is being performed. The Street Division asks that you keep an eye out for workers in the roadway and avoid the area if possible while the work is being completed. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this much-needed work is being performed.

If you have any questions please contact the Public Works department at 541-488-5587.
