Hosler Dam Siren Testing: Monday, January 13th at 12 Noon
The City of Ashland tests the Hosler Dam warning sirens quarterly to ensure they are working properly. The next test will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at 12:00 PM (noon). The sirens at 100% of their full power will sound for fifteen seconds followed by the announcement: "This is a test of the Hosler Dam warning system.  This is only a test."  The sirens will then sound again for fifteen additional seconds.

The sirens are found at the following locations:
  • Bowmer Theatre - Downtown Plaza Area
  • Parks Department - Upper end of Granite Street in Lithia Park
  • The Dog Park - Oak Street near the Wastewater Treatment Plant
  • Dutch Bros. - 1910 Highway 99 across from Butler Ford
