Council Special Meeting

There will be a special meeting of the City Council on June 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers located at 1175 East Main Street. The purpose of this meeting is to determine how to fund the additional police officers approved by the Council last April. The agenda item specifically refers to increasing the property tax rate because that is an option the Council may consider and which therefore must be 'noticed' in order to comply with Oregon Budget Law. Please see the agenda below.

1. Public Hearing and approval of resolution titled,
“A resolution to levy taxes for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018”
 
and, if needed,
 
“A resolution to adopt the 2017-19 biennial budget and making appropriations”
