NEW Splash Pad at Garfield Park Set to Open this Friday

Splash Pad at Garfield Park
APRC is honored to officially announce that the Garfield Park Master Plan is almost completely implemented. If you are not aware, the master plan for Garfield Park includes a new basketball court surface and standards, two new picnic shelters, a new sand volleyball court with a new enclosure and standards, a new shelter to support the Cascade Siskiyou Scenic Bikeway and a new splash pad.

The new splash pad will open on Friday, May 26, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  With nearly twice the square-footage of area and double the amenities, the splash pad is going to make a big hit this summer!

The total cost of the project is $850,000, which will be funded by Food and Beverage Tax revenues from multiple years. More on Garfield Park at ashland.or.us/Garfield. For more information on APRC, please visit AshlandParksandRec.org or call 541.488.5340.

We have experienced technical difficulties, which may persist throughout the weekend. Please bear with us as we work out the kinks. Thank you for your patience.
