On March 30th, 2017, the Ashland Police Department investigated a bank robbery at the Umpqua Bank, 512 Walker Avenue, which also matched the several other bank robberies being investigated in Southern Oregon.
On March 30th, 2017 at about 10:00 p.m., detectives from Medford and Ashland executed a search warrant on the suspects’ residence in the 7600 block of Hwy 227, Trail, Oregon. Detectives also executed a search warrant on their vehicle which was seized after a traffic stop by Eagle Point Police in White City earlier that same day.
The search warrants revealed evidence linking them to the bank robbery spree.
