Climate and Energy Action Plan - Open House Recap

event
The December 7th Climate and Energy Action Plan Open House was a great success.  Thank you to everyone that attended (well over 150) and listened to the panel, asked great questions and provided feedback on the draft plan

The feedback from the open house and the accompanying online survey will be compiled by the project team and will be presented to the Climate and Energy Action Committee at its January 4, 2017 committee meeting and will also be posted online on the project page at www.ashland.or.us/climateplan

Also scheduled to be presented to the committee at the January 4th meeting is the implementation plan section of the overall draft plan.  This will contain the action phasing and scheduling plan, as well as recommendations for new staffing, new commission for plan oversight and acceptance of the goal/target by ordinance.

These remaining project elements will be incorporated into the final draft document and is currently scheduled to be presented to the City Council at its February 7, 2017 meeting.
