On Saturday, July 16th from 9am to 1pm,
join Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project partners on a tour in the Ashland Watershed. We’ll view areas where recent helicopter thinning reduced wildfire hazard and promoted healthier, more resilient forests. We’ll also see controlled burns and discuss using controlled fire to lessen wildfire’s impacts and restore fire’s long absent role in maintaining ecosystem health.
Transportation will be provided. Please RSVP
to Chris Chambers by calling 541-552-2066 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
to register and learn where to meet. You can also visit www.ashlandwatershed.org
