The Ashland Municipal Airport will host its annual airport day on May 21st. Activities will begin at 8 am and wind down around 3 pm. Activities include helicopter rides, plane rides, aircraft displays, emergency service vehicles, a flight simulator, sky divers, smoke jumper museum display, drones and radio controlled aircrafts, aviation displays from science works, a bounce house for the kids and of course food trucks will provide breakfast and lunch.
Airport day is sponsored by the Airport Commission and put on by a group of dedicated volunteers. As always admission and parking are free for the event. For more information regarding Airport Day please contact Public Works at 541-488-5347.
