APRC Recreation Division Set to Move Offices to The Grove

The Grove, located at 1195 E Main Street in Ashland, will soon be home to the APRC Recreation Division. On Thursday, March 24, at 8:30 a.m. the Recreation staff will be in full operation at The Grove. The building will be the new APRC recreation headquarters. The Grove will be a place where you can register for a program, get a map or gift certificate, apply for a scholarship, reserve an APRC facility or just stop by to say hello! The new central location will offer easy access, plenty of parking and will be open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Grove will continue to serve as a classroom for many APRC programs… classes like Fitness Bootcamp, Ballroom Dancing, Building Bones, Archery and more! The Otte/Peterson Room in The Grove offers a comfortable classroom setting to learn skills from a variety of APRC programs.  The room is equipped with a 64” TV monitor, computer and multiple whiteboards.

The APRC offices in Lithia Park will no longer serve the functions of the Recreation Division and the public will not be able to register for APRC programs, or reserve facilities, at the Lithia Park Office. The annex at the Lithia Park office will still serve as the administrative offices for all of APRC and it will have maps and staff to answer general questions about APRC and the Ashland trail system. Recreation related customer service questions will be directed to The Grove.

For additional information about The Grove or any of the programs or services provided by APRC, call The Grove at 541.488.5340 or email Please stop in and see the ‘new face of Recreation!’
