Armed Robbery Case #16-514, APD News Release

ARMED ROBBERY
 
On 02/26/16 at about 1:30 pm, Ashland officers responded to the 300 Block of Hersey Street to investigate the robbery of a local business owner.  While the male victim was walking away from his business, he was approached by a man who demanded his money.  The male suspect reached into the right side of his jacket and displayed a gray semi-automatic handgun.  The male suspect fled the area with an undisclosed sum of money.
 
The suspect is described as a taller, middle aged white male between 45-50 years old.  He was clean shaven, average to stocky build, and short cut black hair.  He was wearing black leather boots, a green camouflage field jacket and camouflage pants - similar to the attached pictures.
