Siskiyou de Mayo: A World Music Festival; Winning Design of the Logo Contest

Ashland Parks & Recreation Commission (APRC) opened a Logo Contest in December, 2015, for a new event called the Siskiyou de Mayo: A World Music Festival. The contest called for a vibrant, colorful logo conveying music and dance. APRC was excited to see many logo submissions from artists around the Southern Oregon Region.
After a thorough review, local illustrator and designer Rose Cassano was selected as the logo contest winner…. Congratulations, Rose! Rose’s winning design will be featured on promotional T-shirts and in multiple mediums year after year.
The first annual Siskiyou de Mayo will take place in beautiful Lithia Park at the Butler Bandshell on Saturday, May 14, with LIVE music and dance from 1 to 6 p.m. This Southern Oregon event is FREE!
Siskiyou de Mayo 2016 is sponsored by Reel House Films, 106.3 The Valley, JPR (Jefferson Public Radio), Rands Art Design, Main St Tours and Jim Chamberlain. Are you interested in sponsoring this exciting event? Check out more info at
Many thanks to everyone who participated in the Logo Design Contest! Mark your calendars for the 1st Annual Event, gather your friends and family, pack a picnic and plan to purchase the 2016 T-shirt.
