Ashland Entry Signs

Ashland Entry Signs
The concept for the proposed entry signs for Ashland will be available for public view and public comment on First Friday, February 5, 2016, in the classroom at the Ashland Art Center at 375 East Main Street.  First Friday begins at 5:00 p.m.

New entry signs were identified by the Beautification Committee as a needed improvement to Ashland and the City Council requested the Public Art Commission oversee the project.

The Commission contracted with Eric Warren of Rogue Design Group to develop the concepts and Steve Morgan of Designer Signs will construct the new signs.  Warren developed several concepts and the commission has narrowed the options to a specific design for each location with all three designs sharing a cohesive look.

The entry signs will be placed in three locations: on North Main in the median in front of the train trestle, on Highway 99 adjacent to Bellview Elementary School, and in the Highway 66 median off Exit 14.
