The Annexation Ordinance is a powerful but shadowy character in the drama of City planning in Ashland. Well understood by few, it occasionally reaches out and, with some of its unlikely companions*, asserts its influence in the spotlight of public interest.
This is the case with the Normal Neighborhood Master Plan(NNMP), whose enabling ordinances will be taken up for second readings at the December 15, 2015 business meeting of the City Council.
The format of this discussion is a 'conversational inquiry', which means the public will be able to ask questions and control the flow and direction of the presentation - but, as with any community forum, substantive discussion (concerning the NNMP) is out of bounds
All are welcome!
