Listening Session #2: The People Passing Through

Wednesday, October 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 1175 East Main Street.

The City Council has been receiving numerous reports, complaints and requests this summer about people in town, hanging out Downtown and by Exit 14, in unusually large numbers, sometimes behaving in ways that clash with the friendly and respectful life-style that is an integral part of what this community is about.

Mayor Stromberg and City Councilor, Stef Seffinger are hosting this Listening Session to collect more information about what's been going on.  For instance:

1) What behaviors have you found problematic, threatening, intimidating, dangerous, etc.?

2) What can you tell us about the people causing these problems?

3) What suggestions do you have for how to cope with the situation?

City Councilors may attend the Session but will b there to listen, not discuss or make decisions.

Please come and help us get some perspective on this emerging issue.
