If youíre interested in what the next stage of forest restoration and community wildfire safety involves, then please join us in a tour in the Ashland Watershed on August
29th from 9AM to 1PM. Recent funding has allowed us to move forward with plans to thin over 1000 acres with a combination of ecologically sensitive machinery and light touch helicopter thinning to begin this fall. Weíll look at proposed thinning areas, recently marked trees, and cover all the intricacies involved in planning this work in diverse and sensitive landscape thatís very prone to wildfire, home to sensitive species, provides drinking water and an excellent quality of life for Ashland residents.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
if you can make it on the 29th from 9am to 1pm and include a phone number and the number of people attending. Iíll follow up with an email to attendees with details the week before the tour. We will provide transportation.
NOTE: The tour originally scheduled for Aug.15th has been moved to Aug. 29th. This is the same trip.
