Citizen Life Saving Award given to Brandon Montague, APD Press Release

ASHLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT

Re:  Citizen Life Saving Award given to Brandon Montague
On May 28, 2015 the Ashland Police Department presented Brandon Montague, an Ashland resident, with a Citizen Life Saving Award.
This award was earned when Brandon assisted in saving a fellow citizenís life on March 13, 2015. Brandon found a man in distress in the parking lot of a local restaurant at which Brandon was working. Brandon reacted very quickly and administered CPR. Brandonís quick actions saved this personís life, and the APD wanted to show its appreciation with a small token. The award was presented by Chief Tighe OíMeara in front of the Ashland Police Department, Brandonís family, and members of the Army National Guard.
Brandon is an SOU student and a member of the Army National Guard, where he serves as a combat medic.
