Re:  APD Case 15-1024
Felony Criminal Mischief

On 04/30/15 at 2:55am, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Siskiyou Boulevard to investigate yelling in the area. When Officers arrived they discovered the glass panels on the bus shelter had been smashed / shattered.  At about 5am, Officers started to receive additional complaints of smashed vehicle windows - most of them occurring above Siskiyou Boulevard, between Liberty Street and Gresham Street.  Another group of vehicle windows were smashed while parked in the alley behind the Ashland Library.  The Library and a business in the downtown area also had a window smashed out.  Nothing was stolen from any of the vehicles or businesses.  The amount of damage during this act of vandalism was significant and believed to be very costly several thousand dollars in damage.

If anyone has information on this case, they are encouraged to call the Ashland Police Department at 541-482-5211. They can also call the anonymous tipline at 541-552-2333.
