The Ashland Parks & Recreation Commission (APRC) opened its Annual 4th
July Run Logo Contest in early January, with local talent and artists from afar encouraged to submit their artwork by the March 2 closing date.
The Commission was happy to see many logo submissions. After a thorough review, they chose their winner….Jack Wiens! Jack’s free-style artistry was selected as the 2015 4th
of July Run Logo. His winning design will be used on this year’s t-shirt as well as in multiple mediums.
This year’s run, brought to you by APRC, will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Two options are available: 10K run and 2-Mile fun run. For more information please visit www.ashland.or.us/JulyRun
. Registration will open in mid-April. Register early and get a t-shirt with Jack’s logo for only an additional $10!
Many thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Logo Design Contest… it’s always exciting to see the varied and creative submissions.
