ASHLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE
Re: APD Case 12-93
Home Invasion Robbery
In January 2012, Ashland police responded to a home invasion robbery of a single family residence in the 100 block of Alnut Street. The suspects had entered the home and stole cash from the homeowner. The ensuing investigation eventually identified three suspects. Two of the suspects, Dylan Ashmun and Michael Tracy, have already been sentenced for their role in the crime.
The third suspect, Ryan Charles Williams, was arrested in April 2012 for his participation in the home invasion robbery, but was released on bail in August 2012 and failed to appear on his scheduled court date.
Recently, Ashland detectives learned Williams was living in Los Angeles California and requested assistance from the United States Marshals Service with his apprehension.
On 10/21/14, the United States Marshals Service apprehended Williams on the following outstanding warrants: Failure to Appear on the charges of Robbery in the First Degree, Kidnapping in the Second Degree, Burglary in the First Degree and Aggravated Theft in the First Degree.
Williams is also wanted on a felony warrant, held by the Medford Police Department, for Fail to Appear on the charges of Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance/Cocaine and a felony warrant held by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office for Fail to Appear Elude and Drive Under the Influence.
