The City of Ashland Public Art Commission invites regional artists to submit design for two separate utility box beautification projects.
Utility Box Beautification is an on-going project and was initiated by the Public Art Commission in 2007. Utility boxes are a blank canvas for public art and an opportunity for local artists to display their talent. There are now more than 15 painted utility boxes in Ashland which brighten the community streets.
